E-Commerce Update for Natural Shrimp

Significant packaging improvements and streamlined ordering

DALLAS, May 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Natural Shrimp, Inc. (OTCQB: SHMP), an aquaculture biotechnology company that has developed and patented the first commercially operational Recycled Aquaculture System (RAS) for shrimp farming), announces the launch of its online ordering and home delivery website., including a new dedicated fulfillment center with an improved ordering process.

A pilot program and e-commerce website were successfully launched December 2022 and met with great demand. This enabled Natural Shrimp to conduct research, understand market demand and gather feedback to proactively implement improvements before fully bringing the product to market. Based on this feedback, the web development team implemented UX/UI (user experience/user information) improvements and the fulfillment team implemented a question/answer process. This process has resulted in improvements to the packaging, making it more robust and reliable, and has also expanded our shipping policy.

After receiving feedback, our E-Commerce Director, Douwe Iedema, introduced and incorporated these changes and improvements into the e-commerce process. Based on customer feedback, we have switched to using biodegradable trays. Each of these trays will hold one pound of head-off shrimp, with each tray having an absorbent pad to absorb moisture. The shrimp are then vacuum sealed to guarantee freshness. To be more competitive, your order will now include five trays, each containing one pound of headless shrimp, for a total of five pounds of vacuum-packed shrimp.

In addition to increasing the number of pounds of shrimp per order, Natural Shrimp Harvest-Select will offer many new specials, such as adding a free pound of shrimp. These special offers will be offered through our meta advertising campaign, newsletters and published on our Facebook page. Keep your eyes peeled for special offers at Finally, we have received many requests to be able to pick up shrimp at a convenient place and time and avoid high shipping costs. As a result of these requests, we have decided to implement a new “Collection Option” procedure. We currently plan to offer one day per week pending demand for this option. Of course, our loyal buyers will save on shipping costs as well as packaging and handling costs.
