OnePlus strengthens partnership with JioMart Digital for device sales, ET Telecom

New Delhi: OnePlus on Friday announced that it has strengthened its partnership with JioMart Digital (JMD) to sell its product range to retail outlets in over 2,000 cities and towns in India following protests by retailers over low stock supply.

“With this growing association and considering the extensive distribution network of JioMart Digital stores spread across India, OnePlus is poised to expand its presence in third and fourth tier cities and towns and beyond, thereby ensuring deeper penetration across the country,” it said company in a media statement.

ET was the first to report on May 2 about the ongoing discussions between OnePlus and JMD.

The company says the partnership will enable a larger consumer base to gain first-hand experience of its products and will further empower retailers across India.

“At OnePlus, we have had a long-standing partnership with the JioMart Digital team in retail. With similar values ​​of providing the best possible experience to our consumers, this partnership has played a key role in our journey to expand our retail presence in India, enrich the lives of our users and strengthen our brand connection with them,” said Ranjeet Singh, Director sales, OnePlus India.

The company is facing boycott from retailers across India due to delays in settling claims, low trading margins and low supply of inventory.
