FIA has arrested two accused of possessing expensive gadgets at Islamabad airport

ISLAMABAD, May 11 (APP): In a recent operation at Islamabad International Airport, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday arrested two persons and recovered expensive gadgets belonging to them.

According to an FIA official, the arrested accused, Babar Ayub and Mohammad Salman, arrived in Dubai on flight PK-234. The FIA โ€‹โ€‹responded based on the information received and recovered a collection of valuable items in its possession.

The suspects, whose frequent trips abroad aroused suspicion, did not provide satisfactory explanations regarding the items recovered from the luggage. The confiscated items included 50 iPhone 15 Pro Max, 16 iPhone 15 Pro, 100 data cables and three Apple MacBooks.

After their arrest, the accused were handed over to customs authorities for further processing. This incident highlighted the vigilance of law enforcement agencies in combating smuggling at airports.
